No, not really, that was just click bait. But read on as I share with you my journey… WOW! The power of a good walk!…

We have historically made bookings and changes to those bookings and these details are kept by us on a manually maintained list. We will be removing all RSVP’s from Meetup so as to avoid confusion.
So remember, you can’t book here, you can’t register here. Here is for information only. Each event listed here has a link out at the top of it’s description to it’s equivalent at the Wales Outdoors booking area. There you can read a full description and see the location and make your booking.
Ideal if you want to help promote Wales Outdoors (thank yo Suso much if you do), if you have a club, group, blog or similar that you want to share us with and INVALUABLE to Wales based accommodation providers and attraction owners who would like to embed our calendar into their site for their customers use. The small print page provides information relative to all of our events. We’ve kept it to a minimum, to be clear about timings, leaders, money etc and it is your responsibility to ensure you are happy with the information and simple conditions.
We’ll let you know when the app is live and will push out links to it’s download page and we do hope that a good few of you take the opportunity to engage with us in a safe and friendly environment before and after getting out on the hill with us 🙂
I’ve run out of time on this one – too late to post much now but suffice to say this is in then pipeline and will be a damning investigative journalism style report into the failings and nepotism that has and is rampant within the Welsh Government delivered tourism portal for Wales, Visit Wales.
News in from a group member – thanks for the info – if you have news of open countryside in your area please do send in 🙂
We apologise for any inconvenience but point you in the direction of the Welsh Government for answers…
NO change of date or credits will be available after June 5th as we need to draw a line under the admin and move forwards with a clear idea of numbers wishing to attend any event so that we may plan and implement safety protocols appropriately.
Of course I could be wrong and it could be that these restrictions rumble on due to a spike or the continued mismanagement of the crisis by the AM’s and MP’s. If that’s the case then we’ll bump July too. But, all is currently looking good for July and what a month we have planned in – do check it out 🙂
Here at Wales Outdoors HQ we have been working hard to restructure, reschedule and to develop new events for the lovely members and occasional walkers that join us on our adventures. We hope that you are coping with lockdown and although certainly suffering from withdrawals from the hills we know that both we and you are set to get out there as soon as is allowed.
You can tell by the pictures here that the weather was absolutely playing ball and this day was just about the very best conditions for walking in the waterfalls area, or any area for that matter, of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
