We will visit 2 separate hill forts on this walk, the first Moel Arthur is believed to be the burial place of Bodecia, and then Penycloddiau, which is one of the largest hillforts in Wales, over 20+ hectares. The Clwydians are designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), and this walk will highlight some of the best parts.

The Daear Ddu ridge is one of the most enjoyable ways up a mountain in Snowdonia and Siabod’s summit offers some of the finest views in the national park. This 9.5km (6 mile) circular is a gem, remains relatively quiet and is perfect for beginners, adventurous children and even haggard old mountain goats.
