So remember, you can’t book here, you can’t register here. Here is for information only. Each event listed here has a link out at the top of it’s description to it’s equivalent at the Wales Outdoors booking area. There you can read a full description and see the location and make your booking.
EVERY ad will receive promotion via a blog post similar to this, will be available to view through the android app and will be promoted to both the meetup membership and the Facebook page, reaching up to 20,000 people who have expressed a keen interest in walking!
No work started on footpath repairs at Pontneddfechan despite the damage occurring prior to lockdown. The main path from Pontneddfechan remains closed.
We’re waiting for an offer of a discount for Wales Outdoors members to subscribe with so don’t go downloading the app right now but suffice to say, we’re impressed and whether or not we get a carrot we will still be recommending that you get the ViewRanger App. We’ll obviously keep you posted on the ViewRanger incentive when we know more.
We’ll let you know when the app is live and will push out links to it’s download page and we do hope that a good few of you take the opportunity to engage with us in a safe and friendly environment before and after getting out on the hill with us 🙂
We’ve been asked to share this site for searching for tide times in Wales and we think it looks pretty good and is easy to navigate so, we’re happy to oblige.
I’ve run out of time on this one – too late to post much now but suffice to say this is in then pipeline and will be a damning investigative journalism style report into the failings and nepotism that has and is rampant within the Welsh Government delivered tourism portal for Wales, Visit Wales.

Take time out during lockdown to have a think about the narrative that the government have been spinning and to listen to the mass of intelligent thinkers, historians, scientists and doctors who clearly align themselves AGAINST the UK Governments and the Global Lockdown position.
So let us get out and about by the seaside this weekend. We will stay indoors if we feel ill (we’re not idiots or gluttons for punishment). We won’t, we promise, approach strangers and kiss them. There will be no coughing over the vulnerable.
Andy’s first walk of 2020 was a very successful wander around the wonderful Kenfig Pool Nature Reserve. Billed as a castle, a well, a beach and a pool this walk has much to offer in the way of interest.
