The route is uphill, gently at first but then after the reservoir steeply up to the summit of Fan Llia and then a steep descent back to the start point. 17km and 500m of ascent.
Meeting at Pont ar Daf car park we will have a four hour exploration of Pen y Fan and will likely go up following the river to the source of The Taff and then up over Corn Du and onto Pen y Fan.
I have a beef with the National Trust. Several in fact. And so I never pay for parking at their locations and I am not a member, and I never will be. I don’t think, but don’t quote me on it, that their charging is enforceable and to date I have not received a parking fine notification.
Andy picked up a couple of university students after his Saturday morning yoga session at Cardiff International Pool with the amazing Yoga With Tori and headed off to the Brecon Beacons for a Four Waterfall Walk.
