This is a 10 mile walk, relatively level walk but with a few short steep sections. With stunning views from the start this walk doesn’t disappoint.

Starting off at Reynoldston, we head up to the footpath and across the heathland.  On a clear day you will get to enjoy panoramic views over the Gower Peninsula.

We then head into an enchanting forest, complete with babbling brooks and towering mystical trees.  After a short walk through the forest we then make our way through the sand dunes, onto Oxwich Bay.  It is a stunning beach, 2.5 miles long, which has a striking backdrop of cliffs, sand dunes and forest.   There will be plenty of time to explore the beach and dunes, and an opportunity to grab an ice-cream, some lunch or both!

Our walk back to the start, takes us through some beautiful countryside and farmland, which will be ever changing throughout the seasons.

The walk is fairly straight forward, there is a bit of hill coming up from the bay but doable for most and we can always stop for a breather.  We are likely to encounter some farm animals, just to flag for anyone who is bringing a dog.
