Wednesday Wanders – The Vale
Maintaining relationships and humanity during this time of social crisis…
A series of walks to take place on Wednesdays in The Vale of Glamorgan and during the second Covid 19 ‘Lockdown’. These walks are free to join and will be approximately two hours long. Hopefully we’ll be able to get a cuppa half way round or at the end.
Penarth History Trail.
Circular walk, distance approx 3.5 miles, duration 2 hours all on road and paths, very hilly, Opportunity for a coffee and comfort break about half way. This walk looks at how Penarth grew from the development of the docks and takes in the marina, the old town, the esplanade and pier and 2 parks and includes some stunning views across the Bristol Channel.
MEET AT 10am OUTSIDE THE CUSTOM HOUSE RESTAURANT AT THE PENARTH END OF THE BARRAGE.
Walks will vary in The Vale locations and will include Penarth, Dinas Powis Woods and The Welsh Coast Path etc. These walks have a fixed start point and time – do make a note of these in your diary 🙂 .

Please contact Andy by email: firstname.lastname@example.org with your location, meet point, date/s and times, short walk description (could be as simple as ‘A wander around Crosskeys’ or similar) and Andy will list and promote. Especially welcome from those able to deliver walks on a Wednesday and in the other locked down areas of Wales.
