Wednesday Wanders – The Vale
Maintaining relationships and humanity during this time of social crisis…
A series of walks to take place on Wednesdays in The Vale of Glamorgan and during the second Covid 19 ‘Lockdown’. These walks are free to join and will be approximately two hours long. Hopefully we’ll be able to get a cuppa half way round or at the end.
Wales Coastal Path (Penarth to Lavernock)
Circular walk approx 4 miles, duration 2 hours. A mix of footpath and track, walking boots would be recommended. Walk takes in some great views out along the path and returns through some of the inter war housing of Penarth.
MEET AT 10AM OUTSIDE THE MAIN GATES ENTRANCE TO ST.AUGUSTINES CHURCH, PENARTH.
Walks will vary in The Vale locations and will include Penarth, Dinas Powis Woods and The Welsh Coast Path etc. These walks have a fixed start point and time – do make a note of these in your diary 🙂 .
Start your own Wander!
Please contact Andy by email: email@example.com with your location, meet point, date/s and times, short walk description (could be as simple as ‘A wander around Crosskeys’ or similar) and Andy will list and promote. Especially welcome from those able to deliver walks on a Wednesday and in the other locked down areas of Wales.
