We’re Getting Back To Work

Of course I could be wrong and it could be that these restrictions rumble on due to a spike or the continued mismanagement of the crisis by the AM’s and MP’s. If that’s the case then we’ll bump July too. But, all is currently looking good for July and what a month we have planned in – do check it out 🙂

Campervan!

Now that it’s not needed as a live in vehicle, I lived in my van from September 2012 through to November 2018, and so set up to accommodate everything I owned, I could make a conversion that was all about utility and comfort. A van for living in but mostly for holidays… So I stripped out the IKEA and country cottage T&G interior and started again…

Your Guided Walks

Here at Wales Outdoors HQ we have been working hard to restructure, reschedule and to develop new events for the lovely members and occasional walkers that join us on our adventures. We hope that you are coping with lockdown and although certainly suffering from withdrawals from the hills we know that both we and you are set to get out there as soon as is allowed.

Travel Writing Competition!

Entry is simple. We want you to write a short (or long) piece about a day long walk (with us or solo or with others, we don’t mind) in Wales (or elsewhere) that details your journey and mentions one (or more) highlight. A few (or many) snaps to accompany the piece too please. Obviously your piece will need to be submitted by close of play on the 30th May.

Free Friend!

Yes, for any of our day walks you can bring one friend for FREE if you have liked the Wales Outdoors page on fb and have become a member of ‘Wales Outdoors’. This offer is a one time opportunity and is valid while your standing order payments are being made.

The Government And Police

I think therefore that it is time to, on occasion, explore a little further afield, to leave the parks for those who don’t drive or can’t travel. After all, walking outside to my car and driving a short distance to somewhere where I will see less people than if I were walking the streets and parks of Cardiff has to be a good thing.
