To be brutally honest, the weather was looking just a little bit worse than awful. The heavens had opened yet again the day before, causing more flooding and I was in two minds as to whether to join the 8 Waterfalls Walk organised by Andrew Lamb of Wales Outdoors.
We had a booking for two people for the Classic Pen y Fan walk due to have been delivered a couple of weekends ago but cancelled as it was scheduled to take place at the height of the damage being delivered by Storm Dennis.
We found a plugin that allows us to share the Google and FreeIndex reviews and the Facebook and TripAdvisor review pages easily on this website including within this blog post.
So we are giving ourselves an award. It’s Tourism For Wales Award and the category is ‘Most LIKED Tourism Business In Wales’ and we’ll have that for 2016, for 2017, for 2018, for 2019 and again for 2020. Thank you 🙂
But before I detail my top 12 I’d like to thank all who joined me on walks and camps and holidays and adventures in 2019. It certainly was a busy and eventful year and it wouldn’t have been anywhere near as wonderful without all of you lovely people 🙂 Thank you!
Kathryn was along for the session and quite sensibly made notes on her smartphone, which she then shared. The pics here are mostly hers and they are a great resource for the group. Thank you Kathryn!
We are blessed with a lovely group and a fine team. Our walks are always exceptionally well received and we get these comments, taken from the meetup group comments page and without redaction:
