WALKING SCRAMBLING DAY IN WALES Usually a fantastic day out on the hill. Guided by an experienced mountaineer you will learn many techniques for safe passage over technical ground. Part hill walk and part scramble, expect a strenuous day out to remember. WALKING SCRAMBLING ADVENTURE DAY DETAILS WALKING SCRAMBLING DAY DESCRIPTION SNOWDONIA SNOWDON NORTH WALES This is a day long walk for those allready used to walking them there hills. We would expect you to have your own walking boots (we can supply but cannot guarantee you will be bliter free) and waterproofs. We have many walking and scrambling routes to choose from in Snowdonia, the National Park being a mountaineers playground. We cover micro navigation, security on steep ground, mountain leader ropework and what to do in the event of unforeseen circumstances. We can offer easy walking days, gentle slopes and paths, simply a guided walk with landscape interpretation, through to classic scrambles that will have you impersonating Elvis!? Technical term - ELVIS LEG - uncontrollable wobble from thigh to ankle - aslo known as the Shakin' Stevens.... We bring to the day all necessary safety equipment, a sound knowledge of the area and a keen eye for safety. WHO CAN TAKE PART? We can accommodate most levels of ability and have worked with all ages although any child under 7 years old should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. LOCATION OF WALKING SCRAMBLING DAYS Any suitable location in North wales, we will try to locate the session as near to your accommodation as possible - Please see our Activity Locations Map DURATION OF WALKING SCRAMBLING DAYS The standard day is 10am - 4pm but we can start earlier or finish later OPERATING PERIOD OF WALKING SCRAMBLING DAYS January 1st - December 31st COST PER PERSON Adult £55.00 Under 18 £37.50 - Reduction if simply a group guided walk up Snowdon or similar WALKING SCRAMBLING SESSION KIT LIST We provide all adventure kit for the day but you will need a packed lunch, warm clothing and waterproof jacket and trousers. CAN I COMBINE THIS WITH ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES? This is a full advenure mountaineering walking scrambling day so no need to combine with another activity. Saying this though, why not combine this with a second day out on the hill or perhaps Climbing and Abseiling CAN I USE A CAMERA / CAMCORDER Yes. There are good opportunites to film the sessions.
