ADVENTURE MULTI ACTIVITY DAY IN WALES Our adventurous multi activity beach day takes place either near Swansea and on the Gower or near Cardiff on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. The mix of activities is perfect, honed over several years of careful development of this consistently successful day. We bring to the day Coasteering, Body Boarding, Power Kites and Mountain Boards, Abseiling and Caving. MULTI ACTIVITY DAY DETAILS MULTI ACTIVITY DAY DESCRIPTION OGMORE BY SEA This is our favourite day, the day that we like running the most. The order of activities is dependent on tide and weather. We bring along equipement for the five activities and usually get through three or four in the day. Coasteering is the highlight with traversing the sea cliffs and jumping into the ocean swell. If the weather is kicking up a storm this activity is not available but the body boarding will be excellent and so we get out the boards and hit the beach. The abseil is more of a lower, down a narrow crack, to the beach and then the only way back up is through a comfy, sandy floored cave. Finally we have a large selection of power kites, easy to fly play kites to full on quad line beasts. Get to grips with these and have a go at scudding across the beach and if your up for it get onto a mountain board and experience the freedom of wind powered transport. SWANSEA This is a cliff day at Mumbles, with climbing and abseiling followed by a rock hop around the bay. We move locations to Caswell Bay for the kiting and body boarding as described for Ogmore by Sea GOWER The long beaches of the Gower are famous for the surf. No abseiling here, just a day on the beach with kites, mountain boards and body boards. A more relaxed session with plenty of time to have a go and hone your skills. And there is a great campsite on the beach.... WHO CAN TAKE PART? We can accommodate most levels of ability and have worked with all ages although any child under 7 years old should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. CAN I COMBINE THIS WITH ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES? This is a full multi activity day so no need to combine with another activity - we have it all with us in any case! Saying this though, why not combine this with a Moonlight Overnight Camp CAN I USE A CAMERA / CAMCORDER Yes. There are good opportunites to film the sessions although for the coasteering a waterproof camera is recomended.
