ABSEIL CLIMBING DAY IN WALES An excellent introduction to climbing, well structured and leaving you ready to take the next step. We can run rock inmprover sessions for individuals and small groups. The day will take you through the basics and should have you setting up single pitch climbs, under the supervision of a local 'rock rat', and we make simple the art of ropework and knots. ABSEIL CLIMBING ADVENTURE DAY DETAILS ABSEIL CLIMBING DAY DESCRIPTION SNOWDONIA SNOWDON NORTH WALES This is a traditional climb abseil session, usually aimed at groups requiring instruction rather than a fun session. But of course, the days are always fun... We start with the essential warm ups, a short lesson in the required kit and safety, then onto bouldering, balance and technique. This day is a single pitch day, so climbing up to 20 metres on well protected (bombproof) routes. You will belay each other, learn three basic knots and towards the end of the day have an opportunity to set up your own climb. We bring to the day Climbing and Abseiling equipements and a keen eye for safety. WHO CAN TAKE PART? We can accommodate most levels of ability and have worked with all ages although any child under 7 years old should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. LOCATION OF ABSEIL CLIMBING DAYS Any suitable location in North wales, we will try to locate the session as near to your accommodation as possible - Please see our Activity Locations Map DURATION OF ABSEIL CLIMBING DAYS The standard day is 10am - 4pm but we can start earlier or finish later OPERATING PERIOD OF ABSEIL CLIMBING DAYS April 1st - October 31st COST PER PERSON Adult £55.00 Under 18 £37.50 ABSEIL CLIMBING SESSION KIT LIST We provide all adventure kit for the day but you will need a packed lunch, warm clothing and a waterproof jacket. CAN I COMBINE THIS WITH ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES? This is a full advenure climbing and abseil instructional day so no need to combine with another activity. Saying this though, why not combine this with a second day (try your hand at multi pitch climbing, or a Technical Day On The Hill CAN I USE A CAMERA / CAMCORDER Yes. There are good opportunites to film the sessions.
